Our client is global leading medical device manufacturer employees more than 5000 staffs worldwide. Due to business expansion plan in the region, they are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Manager in Hong Kong office as its APAC supply chain hub.
About your role:
About your role:
- Reports Senior Supply Chain Manager, this is an individual contributor role
- Implement, drive and improve S&OP process across regions
- Analyze demand forecast trends and justification with statistical forecasting methods and tools
- Effectively communicate with marketing and sales champions for an up-to-date and realistic forecast with supporting business assumptions and justifications
- Effectively communicating with global plants of forecast changes and justification for maximum supply support
- Cooperate with plant planners to ensure availability of inventory for shipment and sales requirements
- Analysis on the inventory flow, sales trend, market situation, production capacity/constraints to work out a healthy inventory replenishment and meaningful forecast data.
- Carry out periodical revision of the key items with significant sales volume to ensure a good support of supply for the business
- Actively monitor inventory aging and effectively communicate with marketing/sales to minimize obsolescence
Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree in supply chain management, logistics or related disciplines
- Minimum of 8-10 years working experience related to planning, forecasting, S&OP and inventory control
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills for leading complex projects and system/process improvement initiatives
- Fluent communicate in English and Mandarin
- Regional experience is preferable
- Hands on experience in computerized Oracle system is preferred
