Our client is a reputable conglomerate that has multiple portfolios in different industries and to cope with their group expansion, they are now seeking for an Infrastructure Technical Lead
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager and assisting the company to undergo a major business transformation, you will be a technical leader who will create and deliver the strategic and tactical engineering roadmaps for technologies and services in the group transformation project area of responsibility, ensuring they are future proofed and that the organization derives maximum value from investment in technologies. You will be commercially responsible for the overall infrastructure performance and own the operational relationships with vendors ensuring services and products are delivered and aligned to industry best practice, regulatory and contractual requirements. Lastly, you will be part of a team to provide day to day support for the on-premise and hosted technologies and services in the Tech Platforms
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 5 years' of designing and managing implementation for real-time applications, specifically with experience managing stakeholder in client IT departments
- Minimum 2 years' experience in AWS or Azure, specifically building data integration for streaming applications
- Experience with AWS managed services (e.g. API Gateway, SNS, SQ etc.) is a plus
- Experience in hybrid cloud integration, API-led architectures, and digital-era Integration governance methodology will be an advantage
- Using modern integration platforms and services supporting managed file transfer, batch, near real time, real time integration's, micro-services and serverless
- Strong administration of Azure Cloud and Data Centres infrastructure
- Strong network and firewall knowledge
- Strong Information Security and IT security / Cyber controls
- Be able to maximize the value of the technology estate, operating best practice processes
- Support delivery of the technology business plan
- Good command in Chinese and English
