About the Company

Our client is an international premium and lifestyle fashion company with a strong brand presence in the Asia Pacific region. To cope with the aggressive expansion plan, their APAC office has newly created a Commercial Director vacancy to oversee the overall business performance of both Direct Retail and Wholesale operations in the region.

About the Role

As the leader of the APAC Sales Division, you will be representing the company and serving as the key "goto" person to partner closely with various key distributors and manage the in-house Retail Sales & Operations team.

Reporting to the VP, the Commercial Director will take full P&L responsibility and ownership of the APAC sales performance and distribution. You will drive the overall brand performance by planning and executing sales strategies, preparing and analysing sales reports, KPI analysis, business forecasts, and competitive analysis to ensure all sales metrics are achieved. As a Business Partner, you will also consult and review the performance of distributors and provide recommendations to further strengthen the sales and working relationship.

This is a highly challenging and diverse role that requires excellent regional retail insights along with a hands-on and solid sales attitude.

Requirements

  • Degree holder with a proven track record of success with any multinational fashion label
  • Minimal of 10 years of retail working experience with at least 5 years at a Regional Managerial level
  • Strong sales mindset and ability to represent the brand as an Ambassador
  • Strong commercial sense and understanding of Asian markets
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with as well as with Wholesale partners
  • Resourceful, self-motivated and independent with proven problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (any other spoken language will be an advantage)
