Our client is a Hong Kong-based conglomerate and a leader in the retail industry. To cope with the business plan and market trend, they are seeking a thought leader in digital content enablement with a strong record of transforming technology, process and people to scale digital content across the Great China region.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group IT Director and CEO, you will lead a very sizable team to drive the Digital Business Transformation in the Greater China market. You will be responsible in driving digital innovation and transformation of the retail business, the strategic & tactical planning and execution of agile IT roadmaps/eco-systems of an enterprise-wide digital transformation, user data management, and business logic connected infrastructure. You will deliver the Digitalization agenda, vetting and decision making on selection of third party vendors, direct the Group IT Team to ensure the digital transformation and agility in business process improvement while advising on emerging technological trends and state-of-the-art solutions (ERP, Analytics, Loyalty, E-commerce, etc.) that can effectively uplift the customer instore and digital experience.
Requirements
The potential candidate will have at least 15 years of strong IT experience including 8 years at director level in the Retail Industry. You will have experience in Technology (ERP Platform, Networks, Data centers, Security, etc.), Service Delivery (Large Community, Services Portfolio), Digital & CX (E-Commerce, Store Innovation, Marketing Processes, Loyalty Programme, etc.), and proven track record in digital platform development, operations, solution design, and implementation & digital marketing. You will demonstrate results and delivery in digital content management, experience leading Enterprise level transformation and cooperation experience with China Digital Giants (e.g. Tencent, Huawei, Baidu, etc.) on eco-system is a must. You are required to have rich knowledge in the Greater China market with strong leadership skills. You must be creative, innovative, and business oriented with a strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate smoothly with the stakeholders and top management in spoken and written English and Chinese.
