Financial Controller - Country Role
About the Client
Our client is an overseas listed MNC providing services to corporate clients across business sectors. Currently, they are looking for a seasoned Financial Controller to take up the leadership for their country finance team in Hong Kong.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be the finance business partner facilitating HK market's strategic growth. You will lead a sizable accounting and finance team to perform full spectrum of accounting and finance duties. You will work with regional office for reporting, budgeting and internal control alignment. You will provide analytics support for formulating business strategy and the 3-year plan. You will conduct analysis for pricing, operating expenses, capital expenses, KPI etc. You will comment on tender bidding and contract review from the financial perspective. To respond to changes in the market, you will build financial models to project scenarios to support management's decision making.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- HKICPA/ACCA Chartered
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience from sizable corporations
- Experience from retail/F&B/hospitality/property management is preferred
- Able to manage a sizable finance team
- Result-driven, commercial and able to challenge the status quo
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
