About Our Client
Our client is a prestigious retail group that owned multiple brands targeted for different consumer markets. To drive sales and plan ahead for their strategic development, they are inviting a high caliber Financial Controller/ Finance Director to cover their HK and Macau markets.
About The Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a team of 5 to perform a full spectrum of accounting and finance functions for the HK and Macau markets. You will be a change agent for the team as you are expected to streamline procedures and upgrade the accounting system to improve efficiency. Also, you will act as a true finance business partner and work closely with different business units to improve the financial performance of the brands. You will also help to upgrade their FP&A function to align with their planned business growth. Last but not least, you will initiate ideas for the business, discuss with the business unit heads and own the execution of these improvement projects designed.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you should be a degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines. HKICPA, ACCA, or other relevant qualifications are required. You should possess at least 15 years of relevant experience ideally from Big 4 and sizable corporations in the retail/FMCG sector. All rounded country finance talents with a track record in driving sales is preferred. Experience in process improvement is an advantage. You should have strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is required.
