General Manager Internal Audit - Up to HKD 80K
About the Client
Our client is a well-established private manufacturing company with major operations in China. Currently, they are looking for a General Manager to head up their Internal Audit Department.
About the Role
- Report to the CEO
- Develop the internal audit team in HK and China
- Prepare the internal audit plan and internal audit program
- Conduct operational and financial audits
- Propose suggestions to management to enhance efficiency
- Identify loopholes, mitigate risks and strengthen internal control
- Responsible for investigations if there is any fraud/whistleblowing case
- Liaise with external auditor
- Handle any ad-hoc duties as assigned
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- CPA/CIA or equivalent
- At least 12 years of relevant work experience from audit firm and sizable MNC
- SOX Experience is definitely an advantage
- Hands-on, analytical, mature and with strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
- Traveling to China will be required based on business needs
