About Our Client
Our client is a sizeable local conglomerate with businesses across financial services, property, retail, hospitality and media. They are now looking for a seasoned corporate lawyer to join as part of the legal team to help with M&A and IPO matters.
About The Role
Reporting into the Group General Counsel, you will provide legal support to different business units and advise on general corporate and commercial matters including M&A, IPO, whilst ensuring the company is complying with relevant laws and regulations. You will also work closely with business stakeholders and formulate and revise policies and guidelines as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE from reputable law firms / sizeable listed company, prior financial services experience highly regarded. Solid understanding in corporate finance transactions, listing rules, government rules and regulations will be essential, and you will be familiar with jurisdictions in Hong Kong and China. Good command of English & Chinese required. Individuals with strong academic background and someone independent, and a good problem solver will excel in this role.
