About Our Client
Our client is a pioneer within the technology sector. To cope with business expansion, they are inviting a legal counsel (3+ PQE) to join as part of the growing legal team. This is a Group level role in which Chinese (Cantonese) will be required, and paying up to $90k per month.
About The Role
As the Legal Counsel within this forward-thinking business, you will advise the business on its activities from Group's perspective, including key legal risks and strategies and work closely with team members to undertake a variety of tasks e.g. review, negotiate and draft commercial terms, managing regulatory challenges and disputes, also managing deals (BCM, ECM, DCM) etc. You will raise challenging questions and draw solutions leveraging your legal expertise and conduct regular legal reviews on business initiatives and respond promptly to wide range of legal requests across the business' functional groups.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's of Law with minimum 3 years practical experience, ideally in media, technology and/or telecommunication areas. You will demonstrate strong client servicing skills, and the ability to work on a broad variety of matters, from complex to standard issues. You will also be able to manage numerous projects simultaneously with tight deadlines utilising exceptional analytical, interpersonal, communication, organisation and leadership skills.
