Our client is a prominent Chinese retail and commercial bank. They are now inviting a Cost Accounting / Cost Management Manager to join as part of the Budgeting team.
About The Role
Reporting into the Head of Budgeting, you will lead a small team and ensure expense budget and cost management within the bank and its subsidiaries are efficient. You will conduct the expense budget allocation, monitoring, analyzation, strategies and measures to cost management for the Bank, and also monitor the progress and enhance the efficient allocation of financial resources. This role will also prepare ALCO/EC materials and fulfill Head Office's requirements on expense budget and cost management. Ad hoc duties will also assigned by Department head as required.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related disciplines, with 8+ years experience in cost management/ cost accounting, financial planning and budget. Experience working in Audit and Chinese banks highly regarded. This role would require proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English, Mandarin essential. You will also come with team supervisory experience and the ability to work under pressre, alongside good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
