About The Client
Our client is a growing bank that is undergoing business transformation. As part of the business strategy to put more focus on grooming their talents, they are looking for a seasoned banking L&D calibre with 8+ years relevant experience to join as part of the HR team.

About The Role
Reporting into the Head of Department, you will support with developing and implementing approaches to enhance the skills of the banking employees; you will undertake learning and development initiatives to support the implementation of the HR strategy; design and delivering performance development/business skills learning and development programmes and revising existing offering as appropriate. You will also take lead on all aspects of people development, including development of succession planning and key talent development initiatives, whilst undertaking needs analyses, produce project plans, deliver training projects and initiatives for teams/departments as required. You will also participate fully in the activities of the wider HR team and work closely with senior management.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years relevant work experience ideally from financial services sector, with proven recent experience in a learning and talent role, also excellent understanding of best practice and legislation/regulation in training, development and talent management. You will demonstrate strong consulting skills, able to understand the root causes and identify the problem before proposing the options/solutions. You will also have strong project management and coordination experience, alongside strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills to multiple layered audiences. You will be proficient in the use of raw data to draw insight and effect change, strong facilitation and delivery skills, and experience of coaching people/active listener and operating as a mentor. English and Chinese will be required for this role and competitive package offered to attract the best.
