Manager/ Senior Manager Corporate Development
About the Company
Our client is a blue chip company with China as their core revenue generating market. To cope with their upcoming business strategy, they are inviting a seasoned Manager/ Senior Manager to join their growing corporate development team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Division Head, you will be responsible for corporate strategy development and end-to-end M&A management (deal origination, due diligence, negotiation and post-deal integration and performance tracking). You will work closely with Business and Functional Heads, identify room for business growth/ turnaround. You will work as an internal consultant and make practical advice to management for mitigating risks and re-engineering business processes by reviewing and transforming their business models. You will liaise with external parties such as bankers and tax consultants to facilitate project needs.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should have around 3 - 10 years of experience gained from renowned investment banks/ management consultancies. Experience related to M&A and business model re-engineering is required. Industry knowledge of retail/FMCG/Healthcare is a definite advantage. Relevant professional qualifications such as CFA is an advantage. You should be commercially savvy, agile and able to perform under pressure . Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is compulsory.
