Position Overview:
As a Network Operations Center Engineer at our client's Global Network Center, you will be a key member of their international operations team, responsible for providing Tier 1 technical support to ensure the seamless operation of our global network. This role offers exciting opportunities for growth and development in various networking specializations, including IP, Transmission, Voice, ICX (DataCenter), Cable, Planned Events and Satellite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 7*24 Tier 1 technical support for network issues, ensuring rapid response and resolution.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks or failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of the global network.
- Continuously improve network reliability, performance, and security.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends, applying them to improve operations.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Boot camp are welcome to apply.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- The level of seniority depends on the years of experience.
- The function (IP, Transmission, Voice, Satellite, Data-center, Planned Events) assigned to depends on relevant experience.
- Experience in network engineering or related fields is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, international environment with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
