Senior Accountant
About Our Client
Our client is a multi-national corporation with a strong global presence. It is a renowned market leader in the pharmaceutical industry. To cope with their ambitious expansion plan in Asia, they are looking for a Senior Accountant to joint their SSC in HK to support their PRC team.
About the Role
- Report to the Finance Manager
- Assist in the preparation and reviewing of monthly financial reports and accounting processes
- Ensure financial compliance with GAAP and company policies and procedures
- Liaise with country finance team and outsourced service providers in PRC
- Assist in system improvements and work flow streamlining
- Support any ad-hoc tasks as assigned
About the Person
To qualify, the successful individual must possess:
- Bachelor Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- HKICPA or ACCA qualified
- At least 3 years of relevant experience from Big 4
- Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX Compliance and PRC Accounting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
- Traveling is required, approximately 20%
- Immediately available is an advantage
