About Our Client
Our client is one of the leading retail banks in Hong Kong with strong APAC presence. They are currently hiring a Senior Audit Manager for the credit risk review team.
About The Role
Reporting into the Head of Internal Audit, you will audit Credit Risk Exposures and Credit Risk Management processes over the bank's credit business and support units. You will assess the credit risk exposures quality in view of a) actual versus expected portfolio performance, b) data integrity, c) troubled exposure and d) volatility of future performance. You will also evaluate credit process according to Product and Target Market Definition, Credit Initiation and Approvals, Documentation and Disbursement and Credit Risk Administration, Problem Recognition, Collection/Remedial Management, Portfolio Risk Management and Organisation and staffing. You will also lead the audit process assessing operational risk and controls in relation to credit operations, trade services and compliance risk from consumer/commercial credit data. Special assignments will be assigned and as the Senior Audit Manager, you will be expected to serve as a true business partner to the Risk Management team and other internal auditing members on latest development, ensuring an effecitve and efficient working practices are in place.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a degree holder with CIA/ CPA or equilvalent qualifications. You will have minimum 10+ years of relevant credit related auditing experience from banking sector, and solid knowledge around credit risk management activities and auditing requirements applicable to the banking business. Strong knowledge in MS Excel and ACL, MS Access or other analytics tool will be an advantage, and someone able to work independently and supervise a team to execute end-to-end audit assignment will be highly regarded. Both Engish and Chinese will be required, and occasional travel will be expected for this role.
