About The Client
Our client is a leading Medical company with growing global presence. They are hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to take lead of the legal team, targeting candidates with PQE 10-15+ in general commercial and IP specialty.

About The Role
As the Senior Legal Counsel, you will act as the primary point of contact to provide legal support to global business units and functions (oversee around 600 pax). You will provide exposure to a broad range of legal, strategic and commercial risk management and IP issues affecting the business including / in relation to commercial transactions, business operations, product portfolio, patent and legal compliance matters. You will draft, negotiate and review significant commercial contracts aligned to business strategy and priorities; advise on issues arising from 3rd party collaborations or relationships, product liability and dispute resolution matters, and also legal and compliance policy matters associated with business operations and initiatives. You will also actively engage business stakeholders to ensure proper incorporation of company policy and values.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have PQE 10-15+ sound commercial contract law and transactions experience from MNCs (experience working for medical / pharmaceutical industries an advantage). You will come with working experience across a broad range of legal topics such as competition law, anti-bribery and corruption, intellectual property, employment laws and dispute resolution matters. You will have strong legal skills combined with high integrity and sound commercial acumen, and the ability to deliver clear, pragmatic and solution-focused legal advice on a range of complex issues. You will also come with strong interpersonal skills, able to engage proactively, influence and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders across all levels of the organisation; also a self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment. High proficiency in English and Chinese required for this role.
