About The Client
Our client is an industry leader in the Supply Chain sector. As part of business strategy and expansion, they are looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel with 12+ years relevant experience to join as part of the top management team.
About The Role
Report directly to the CEO, this is a key role targeting at seasoned legal professionals who can come in and drive an impact to the business. You will lead the strategic developent of corporate policies, procedures and legal initiatives, and serve as the go-to counsel for legal advice on all major business decisions including business transactions, M&A, critical commercial agreements etc. You will also take responsibility on company conducts and ensure business compliance are met with regulatory standards. This is a senior legal position that would require advisory to senior management and translate business strategies into executing plans.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with minimum 12 years relevant experience, ideally with a mix of private practice and in-house exposure. You will have sound industrial experinece with strong client-managing skills and candidates familiar with shipping / logistics / frieight industry will be an advantage. Proficiecy in both Mandarin and English will be requred for this role. Strong indpendence and a detail-oriented approach will be key to excel in this role as the incumbent will be expected to demonstrate the ability to handle a diverse range of issues.
