Job Description
My client is a well-established and leading forwarder, they are committed to offering the first class logistics services to their customers. A new opportunity now exists for an experienced talent from the industry to join them as the Trade Lead for their ocean products.
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the development of business strategy for ocean products, formulation of the sales plan for the branches located in different areas. You will oversee their sales performance and contribute to the sales growth by tapping into new business opportunities and building relationship with the trade partners. You will spearhead the product strategy and ensure that your business has delivered the market driven and cutting edge services to the customers. In addition, you will manage the pricing structure and analyse its competitiveness with feedback collected from the branch managers and customers. As the Trade Lead, you will be an internal industry expert to consult the management and overseas branches on the long term strategy to sustain and grow your market share substantially.
Requirements
To qualify, successful individual must possess:
- Bachelor Degree in business management or other related discipline
- 10+ years of shipping / logistic industry experience
- Strong knowledge in local shipping business with hands on network within the sector
- Track record in PNL management and development of sales strategy
- Consultative approach, result driven, analytical and highly initiative
- Sound communication and negotiation skills, detailed and team work
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
