About The Client
Our client is a fast-growing conglomerate business that promotes collaboration within the workplace. They are now inviting an agile and dynamic Assistant HR Manager to join as part of the TA & BP team, ideally candidates with prior experience working within multinational corporations, or with an overseas education / work experience.
About The Role
Reporting into the Senior HR Manager, you will assume the following responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business unit heads, and senior leadership to understand their unique needs and provide strategic HR guidance to drive organisational effectiveness
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted resource for employees, providing advice and counsel on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Performance Management: Partner with managers to facilitate effective performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, coaching, and development plans
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, conduct candidate assessments, and support the recruitment and selection process. Facilitate new employee onboarding to ensure a smooth transition and integration into the organisation
- HR Policy Development and Compliance: Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures that align with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring consistency and fairness across the institution
- Employee Engagement and Culture: Promote a positive work culture by actively engaging with employees, facilitating initiatives, and recommending strategies to enhance employee engagement, morale, and well-being
- HR Data Analysis: Collect and analyse HR data to identify trends, develop insights, and recommend data-driven strategies for continuous improvement
- Change Management: Support organisational change initiatives, including restructuring, process improvements, and culture transformation, by providing guidance, communication, and change management strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably from multinational corporations
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and organizational development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to think strategically, analyse complex situations, and develop innovative solutions
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
