Our client is one of the well-established retail banks in Hong Kong. As part of business expansion, they are now inviting a seasoned Company Secretary with 10+ years solid experience in banking sector to join as part of the legal team. About The Role
Reporting into the Head of Legal & Compliance, you will be an independent company secretariat practitioner handling full spectrum of company secretarial duties for the bank. You will maintain proper company secretarial records, registers, database and routine filings, and prepare and review announcements, circulars and legal documents as required. You will also work closely with external company secretarial service vendors, ensure the bank is in compliance with laws and statutory requirements and work on ad hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be degree educated and qualified member of HKICS / ICSA. 10+ years company secretarial experience in banks and/or sizeable financial institutions essential, alongside sound knowledge with company secretarial practice, Hong Kong Companies Ordinance, Banking Ordinance, and other relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal) will be required and someone independent, detail-oriented and hands-on will help excel in this role. This role pays up to HKD70k per month, immediate available candidates highly regarded.
