Job Description
Our client is one of the leading Chinese Bank with around 10 years of history in the Hong Kong Corporate Banking market. To cater their growth, they are looking for a talent Controller to join their team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead a sizeable team and head up the financial reporting function of the bank, fulfilling the requirements of financial reporting by the regulatory bodies and Head Office. You are responsible for preparing the HKMA reporting on regular basis. In addition, you will also participate in the strategic planning of future business directions.
To qualify, you should be a degree holder in accounting or related subjects and a qualified accountant with at least 10 years of related experience coming from the banking industry. Corporate banking experience preferred . You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to business partners as well as strong technical knowledge in HKMA reporting . Experience in working in a local or Chinese bank is preferred. Fluency in Mandarin and Chinese writing is essential.
