About The Client
Our client is a TechFin business with fast expansion. They are now hiring a Head of Compliance with 10+ years of relevant experience to join their team, candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Compliance Manager.
About The Role
Job duties include:
- Act as the 2nd LOD to ensure company's compliance standards are align with local legislations, rules and industry directive policies, risk management policies and procedures etc
- Keep abreast of latest regulatory requirements; act as the go-to compliance expert for existing and new business initaitives
- Liaise with external regulators on matters across regulatory reviews, examinations and investigations and recommend action plans as appropriate
- Conduct regular business compliance review
- Reinforce a strong compliance culture within the business
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or relevant disciplines
- 10+ years of compliance experience within Fintech/VB/Banking sectror
- Familiar with local legislation, HKMA rules and regulations
- Geuine passion for Fintech space
- Good business acumen with the ability and maturity working with senior stakholders
- Willing to be 'hands-on' and enjoy building structures from scratch
- Fluent in English and Chinese
