About The Client
As part of a dynamic organisation, our client is growing and transforming themselves to be a digital pioneer within the retail banking sector in Hong Kong, and is currently looking for a seasoned HR Head to oversee the Retail Banking arm. 15+ years HR experience within retail banking space will be required to excel in this role.

About The Role
This Head of HR (for Retail Banking Business) is a strategic, transformation focused role that primarily works to identify and create efficiencies across the organisation to meet current and future business needs. The role supports senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of process improvements and change management to users throughout the organisation. You will proactively identify improvement opportunities across people, process and technology and participate in transformational activities across different business units; also interface with team members across various functions creating a unique opportunity to collaborate with various functional leaders, including but not limited to Learning & Organisation Development, HR operations, compensation & benefits administration, employment law compliance, recruitment and performance management. You will provide thought leadership, distinctive internal client service and consultation and is critical in the execution of systemic, value add enhancements to current processes.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a business-minded, retail banking HR professional with a minimum 15+ years of increasing responsibility in HR / Talent positions with demonstrated ability to thrive in a culture that is collaborative, service-oriented and consultative. You will be a functional HR/Talent leader who delivers top-tier services with a pragmatic approach to business partnership and operations, also a strong team player with the ability to build good relations with key stakeholders, and the ability to coach and mentor others inside and outside the team. Candidates who are collaborative, action-oriented and with the ability to react positively and quickly to sudden / unpredictable changes will help excel in this role.
