About The Client
Our client is a newly set up Credit Hedge Fund, with a large AUM, and is looking to make a key non-investment hire. They are now looking for a newly created 'Operations Manager' hire to take control of the line operations + middle office remit, and the new hire is expected to front a number of initiatives / be the face of many relationships with key stakeholders.
About The Role
Working within a lean team, you will help build a clear structure for the newly set up Credit Hedge Fund. You will be held responsible for preparing daily and monthly reconciliation, taking sole responsibility for producing the NAV, daily P&L reports and maintaining treasury operations liaising closely with the portfolio managers, lega, tax and fund admin departments. You will monitor various fund operation issues including collateral and cash management, and assist in query escalation and ensure the daily repo is flattened. You will also resolve any daily queries from counterparties.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years buy-side operations experience, with a bias towards credit. A hard-working individual with an outgoing personality is a pre-requisite. Furthermore, you should have a genuine passion for financial markets. The role will offer up to HKD70k monthly base salary with high bonus potential.
