About your role:
- Overseeing the Group's sustainability reporting and disclosure, ESG risks and performance management
- Driving the execution and related strategies and initiatives through stakeholder engagement at different levels
- Organizing meetings for Board Sustainability Committee and Group Sustainability Steering Committee to engage and solicit support on sustainability directions
- Responding to various ESG ratings including DJSI, GRESB, CDP, Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index, Vigeo, FTSE4Good, MSCI and Sustainalytics
- Developing ESG-related policies and guidelines to strengthen ESG governance and performance management and to safeguard the rights and interests of key stakeholders
- Overseeing the Group's environmental management and providing advice on sustainable business practices
- Maintaining the group-wide environmental data management system and providing business analytics
- Collaborating with finance department and banks on sustainable finance from framework development, deal negotiation to soliciting second party opinion
- Developing activities, training and e-newsletter to raise the awareness of employees on sustainability-related topics
- Participating in corporate sustainability awards and supporting project teams on project-level sustainability awards
- Researching and soliciting innovative sustainability solutions and partnerships to drive actions in sustainability
- Planning and reviewing NGO sponsorship under the Group's charity foundation and planning and monitoring the department's budget
Requirement:
- Master's degree holder in Environmental Science/Engineering/Management, Public Policy or other relevant disciplines
- At least 12 years of working experience in EHS / Sustainability / CSR with 5 years at managerial level
- Strong working knowledge of climate-related risk assessment, carbon accounting / verification, resource and circularity management,
- Strong working knowledge of ESG data management, optimization, benchmarking, and research
- Demonstrated collaboration ability, solid influential skills,
- Capable to work across the organization to drive changes and better results
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese. Putonghua is a plus
