A world-renowned industry leader headquartered in Hong Kong is currently in action to strengthen its HR function by bringing on a high caliber individual to join them as the Director of Payroll.
About the Role
- Report to General Manager
- Lead and oversee payroll function for Hong Kong
- Responsible for driving payroll process transformation by driving standardization and productivity gain in alignment to business objectives
- Administer the effectiveness and efficiency of payroll system
- Supervise, maintain and enforce the provision of accurate and timely payroll services and activities
- Accountable for governance, controls and policy compliance in respect of all Payroll activities performed by company
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or Finance is preferred
- Minimum 15 years of working experience with a strong exposure in Payroll processing gained from reputable and sizeable organizations
- Demonstrated expertise in the leadership of large transactional teams or similar functions in a large and diverse organisation is essential
- Experience in payroll operations and/or knowledge of Employment Law, HR best practices and payroll processing
- Strong experience in driving change in complex organisation
- Leadership experience with transitioning, consolidating and optimising functional Teams
- Experience with PeopleSoft or similar payroll systems and software
