About The Client
Our client is a global asset management / private equity real estate investment firm. Due to business expansion, they are hiring a Finance Manager based in the Hong Kong office, and would support with Financial Reporting, Treasury and system enhancement matters. The role will be a standalone role and would target candidates with 10+ years relevant accounting & finance experience from asset management companies. Candidates who can work independently with a hands-on approach will help excel in this role.

About The Role
Reporting into the Finance Director based in China, you will be the manager-in-charge for the Finance department and be held responsible for the company's overall financial reporting, corporate treasury and also cash management functions. You will prepare top tier financial information and analysis, manage the company's asset and liabilities, ensure regulatory compliance standards are met and contribute to the growth and business development across the global operations. As the business is undergoing through transformation, you will also take lead in the system enhancement project, whilst giving strategic advice to senior management as required.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant, and holds a Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or relevant disciplines. You will have 10+ years experience ideally from asset management companies, and demonstrate solid and hands-on experience in financial reporting, treasury function and also system enhancement. Prior exposure in Big 4 and multi-national firms will be highly regarded. You will be familiar with banking operations, international accounting standards (taxation, audit, regulations, policies), detail oriented with high sense of professional judgement and decision-making ability. Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) will be essential for this role.
