Key Areas of Responsibilities |
* Prepare timely and accurate Net Assets Values of more complicated hedge and private equity funds, weekly P&L reporting and other fund accounting output for subsequent review. * Perform reconciliation and cash and trade position and resolve the break on timely manner. * Perform accounting functions including year end fund financial statements, investor related reports and regulatory reports. * Prepare performance fee calculation, capital call and distribution calculation with the applicable fund terms. * Review fund accounting and transfer agency deliverables prepared by junior fund accountant * Involvement in client servicing and responding to client and/or investors' queries * Work closely with the external auditors during year-end reporting. * Work together with other team members on the on-boarding of new clients, launching of new fund * Perform Middle and Back Office duties for clients. * Assist in the invoicing process, collection of receivables. * Perform AML checks, provide ongoing compliance support for clients including AML/KYC, FATCA and Common Reporting Standard (CRS). * Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned. |
Requirements |
* Bachelor Degree with major in Accounting, Finance or any related disciplines. * HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent qualification is preferable. * CFA, FRM or other equivalent qualification is a plus * 3-5 years working experience preferably gained in the financial services industry. Previous Fund administration experience is a must. * Mature, high level of attention to detail, able to work independently under pressure and strong sense of meeting tight committed deadlines. * Good interpersonal skill and able to work with different levels and backgrounds. * Good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English. * Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other presentation applications, including the ability to produce neatly presented work. * Candidate with more experience will be considered for a Fund Accountant Supervisor role. |
