Our client is a leading bank with a well-established HR team. To scope with the bank's needs to meet with regulatory standards, they are now hiring a (Senior) HR Manager to support with the bank's internal control, HR policy and governance matters. Targeting candidates with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in banks and incumbent familiar with enhancing governance and internal control framework relating to HKMA's Bank Culture Reform.
About The Role
Reporting into the HR functional head, you will support with internal business control to ensure solid 1st line of defence is established for the HR department, and also ensure existing policies and procedures can effectively detect, prevent and mitigate fraud, errors and incidents that could cause potential operational risk to the Bank. At the same time, you will also review and make necessary updates to all HR related policies and procedures on an on-going basis and ensure information is up-to-date. You will work closely with the HR functional head and support with ad hoc projects as required.
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Human Resources or relevant disciplines, with minimum 8+ years relevant experience in banks and sound track record overseeing the bank's policy and internal control processes. You will also demonstrate knowledge with latest rules and regulations applicable to the banking sector, and HR practices and methodologies adopted within the industry. Strong communications and influencing skills will help excel in this role, and this position would require profiiciency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
