About our Client

Our client is a leading operator within the Logistics sector. Due to upcoming business needs, they are now seeking for a high calibre HR professional to join them as the Senior HR Manager overseeing the group level HR business partnering function.

About the Role

  • Act as an HR business partner to Global & Regional functions, with staff locating in different office sites internationally
  • Understand the business and operations of different functions, provide professional advices to line management in driving high performance culture
  • Develop strategic resourcing plans and provide effective solutions on talent acquisition and retention to fulfil the current and long term business needs
  • Identify training needs and implement customized programs
  • Facilitate talent review, succession planning and implement appropriate development and retention programs for key individuals identified
  • Provide line management with HR statistics and analytics for people decision making
  • Keep line management abreast of labour market updates and provide preventive solutions for foreseeable people challenges

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Business Administration or related disciplines; HR management major, master degree or professional HR qualification is an advantage
  • Minimum 18 years' HR management experience in an MNC environment with both regional and local business partner and specialist backgrounds, with at least 5 years in a people leading role
  • Proven ability in providing sound HR advices in accordance to business objectives
  • Good knowledge of local and overseas Employment Ordinance related to laws and job market practices
  • Good business acumen with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • A proven change agent with the ability to communicate with employees at different levels
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Proficient PC skills with hands on experience in various HR systems and tools
