About our client
Our client is a global-renowned manufacturer with strong market recognition in the Asia region. Under the circumstance of cloud transformation, they are looking for a (Senior) System Engineer to join their backend infrastructure team.
About the role
- Providing L2 support to the internal on-premises system, cloud system and network
- Providing services on office IT operation administration on LAN, WAN, AD, and cloud application servers
- Working on IT infrastructure projects, including migration, configuration, and integration with internal infrastructure teammates and external parties
- Reviewing internal infrastructure design and suggesting solutions for quality enhancement
- Overseeing and coordinating with the helpdesk team on L1 infrastructure and office IT operation issues
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience; Candidate with less experience would be considered as System Engineer
- Experience in providing L1/L2 infrastructure management, including system, network and cloud
- Experience in system operation and support, such as Windows/Linux/Wintel Server, AD/Exchange server, Switches, Firewall, LAN/WAN
- With knowledge in performance tuning, capability planning and DBA is a plus
- Experience in the public cloud environment on Azure/AWS is a plus; Cloud-related training would be provided
- With CCNA/ITIL/MCSE certification is an advantage
