About Our Client
Our client is a high-profile fintech company in Hong Kong. They are now seeking an experienced Accountant with 5+ years experience to join and support with company's continued success and growth.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the following:
- Provide accounting advice, forecasts and management evaluation on a regular basis
- Handle cash flow management
- Handle full set of accounts, tax computation and other accounting related duties
- Support month-end and year-end closing process
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
- Liaise with auditors and other stakeholders on accounting related duties
- Review and recommend modifications in ERP and accounting system implementation
- Participate in Ad hoc project as assigned
The Successful Applicant
- Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines
- Qualified member of HKICPA or equivalent required
- Prior audit firm experience preferred
- Experiences in ERP implementation a plus
- Minimum 5 years working experiences in financial or management accounting or external audit
- Proficient in PC skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, accounting software
- Independent, detail oriented, analytical and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and work under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in English and Chinese required
