About the client
Our client is a sustainability pioneer within the property industry. In order to enhance its market-leading footprint, the team is looking for an Assistant Sustainability Manager to join their team.
About the role
- Report to sustainability manager
- Manage sustainability development and drive the target setting for carbon emission, energy, waste and water over the Portfolio
- Propose the long term, midterm and short term reduction plan, and implement green and sustainability campaigns
- Provide professional advice for the emission reduction and budgeting
- Produce annual sustainability / ESG reports and organize annual sustainability conference
- Involved in regular meetings to discuss and develop green initiatives and coordinate activities
The successful applicants
- Master Degree holder in Environmental Science/ Management, Business Administration, Public Policy or other relevant disciplines
- At least 4 - 6 years' of environmental experience
- Certification in GRI G4 or carbon auditing will be an advantage
- Experience in sustainability reporting, data management, consulting and project management preferred
- Outstanding and proactive communication, stakeholder management, and project management preferred
- Competency in strategic planning and strong business acumen to drive sustainability in a commercial setting
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
