About Our Client
Our client is a stable & growing Chinese Bank. As part of their HR transformation plans, they are currently hiring a seasoned HR practitioner to take lead of the HR Compliance and employee relations team(s), also overseeing whistle blowing and disciplinary cases as one of the key job focus.
About The Role
Reporting into the General Manager - Human Resources, you will review and revamp existing HR policies, procedures and employee handbook in relation to local laws and HKMA requirements, and at the same time look into potential operational risk and control matters by conducting scheduled HR compliance audits so as to avoid any legal liabilities. You will also involved in various employee relations activities including the handling of legal / court cases, employee complaints and investigations. Working alongside a sizeable HR team, you will demonstrate the ability as the go-to HR advisor within for all HR compliance and labour relations-related matters.
Requirements
To qualify, you will be degree educated in Human Resources or relevant disciplines, with sound track record being a true HR business partner to senior business stakeholder, and a solid HR practitioner in compliance and employee relations matters. You will be well versed in employment law and the regulatory / legal requirements that can affect an organisation at anytime; experienced responding to audits from external parties and/or responding to legal inquiries, and demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (in Chinese and English) stepping up to conflicts as a strong problem-solver who can think on one's feet. This is a HR functional lead position targeting at candidates with 15+ years relevant experience preferably from a Financial Services environment, with competitive package offered to the right talent.
