Our client is a leading bank with a well-established HR team (with CoE operating model). To scope with the bank's needs to meet with regulatory standards, they are now hirings a HR Manager to support with the bank's internal control, HR policy and governance. They are targeting clients with minimum 6 years of relevant experience in banks and familiar with enhancing governance and risk management framework relating to HKMA's Bank Culture Reform.
About The Role
Reporting into the Senior HR Manager, you will serve as the internal HR control officer, overseeing the bank's HR risk and compliance matters. You will review and revamp existing policies and ensure current practices are meeting regulatory / HKMA standards. You will also support with any Employee issues ranging from conficts, disputes, performance management, risk to highly confidential and complex investigations.
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified with minimum 6+ years relevant experience in banks and sound track record overseeing the bank's policy and internal control processes. You will also demonstrate knowledge with latest rules and regulations applicable to the banking sector, and HR practices and methodologies adopted within the industry. Strong communications and influencing skills will help excel in this role, and this position would require profiiciency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
