About the Client
Our client is a leading international apparel company with a long history of success. Due to recent changes, they are now seeking for a dynamic HR professional to join them as the HR Director covering HK & Macau business.
About the Role
- Align HR strategies and plans with the business strategy
- Execute the strategic direction of HR, including implementation of high-value added HR initiatives and programs that support business goals and objectives
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Provide leadership, advice, and counsel to management on all human resources issues and build managers' capabilities to be good leaders
- Identify and develop leadership talent for pipeline and succession planning
- Partner with all HR functions to drive talent management, performance management, organizational development, compensation, benefits, inclusion & diversity, employee experience, leadership development and training to elevate the organizational capability
- Leverage HR policies, programs, and practices to create and maintain a positive, high-performing workplace
- Work with management and C&B Team to ensure compensation & benefits are competitive and equitable
- Manage projects, programs, and practices that engage, inspire, and recognize workforce performance
- Ensure workforce inclusion, representation, and diversity
- Act as leader of high-performing, collaborative HR team that mutually supports overall internal customer groups and each other
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or relevant discipline is preferred
- A minimum 16 - 18 years of solid experience as an effective HR professional gained from preferably from the Retail sector
- Able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HR strategic planning, people practices, HR disciplines such as recruiting and talent development
- Supportive with strong work ethic, motivation to learn, grow and succeed
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with independence
- Capacity to manage and drive key projects while influencing change and transformation
- Experience in HRIS Management is preferred
- Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English is a must
- Proficient user of MS Office and HR software is an advantage
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior HR Manager
